The SAGE Automation graduate engineering program focuses on the promotion and development of young and talented engineers and offers excellent development opportunities within the unique culture that is SAGE.

SAGE Automation offers a world-class training facility for graduate development with competency based training and career planning and advice. Our 18 month program is designed to equip candidates with the knowledge and experience needed to assist in determining career paths, whilst matching particular skills and interests.
Rotations will provide a cross-section of exposure to the various businesses within SAGE Automation, and candidates will spend at least 5 months as part of a Group Business Management team to gain experience in the areas of project management and electrical engineering. Candidates will receive first hand knowledge of the processes and procedures of SAGE Automation’s operations, and by the end of the program, will have performed tasks and gained professional experience and personal development in:
Project management
Engineering – PLC/ HMI / SCADA
Engineering – Design
Estimation
Technical writing
Graduates will be supervised and supported throughout the program ensuring adequate training and exposure is maintained throughout. Upon completion of the program, candidates will have built a network with peers and management and will have the opportunity to become part of a growing and leading edge systems integration company – SAGE.
Potential graduates
Successful graduates will have completed a four year Bachelor of Engineering (electrical) and be eligible to work in Australia. They must demonstrate leadership, teamwork and collaboration abilities and be adaptable to change. With exceptional communication skills, candidates will also possess creative, innovative, and self-motivated attributes, and be able to deliver commercial results for our clients – a passion for delivering certainty.
