SAGE has been profiled in leading Australian business magazine, Business Review Weekly.

BRW Innovation Editor Gina McColl interviewed SAGE Group Managing Director Andrew Downs for the two-page story on the company and its growth plans

The article published in the March 20-26 edition covered the national expansion of SAGE Automation, the rapid emergence of SAGE Didactic and the establishment of SAGE Capital

SAGE’s increased involvement in advanced skills training was a key focus of the article.

“SAGE Automation works with big companies on big projects: GM Holden on its assembly lines, Thiess and AbiGroup on the Tugun Tunnel under the Coolangatta Airport, BHP Billiton at its Roxby Downs uranium mine,” the article states.

“But SAGE’s masterstroke was buying a miniaturised production line that measures just six metres by three metres.

“While the company specialises in the high-tech world of advanced manufacturing (robotics, vision systems and mechatronics, for example) it is the mini-production line that may give the company its next phase of spectacular growth.”
